Strategy Analyst / Trend Researcher

Trensition is a strategic intelligence company, with HQ in Ghent Belgium, that builds upon a new, 100% data-driven and quantitative methodology. Trensition leads the revolution in quantitative strategic and trend analysis in Europe and beyond. We strive for our users to enjoy using our trend intelligence platform, Trendtracker.ai through intuitive and attractive design combined with easy to intepret visual analytics dashboards. Trendtracker is continuously evolving software. It’s a combination of A.I., data science, dashboards and open API.

Your responsibilities will be:

As a strategy analyst, you will be responsible for supporting strategy and innovations teams to inspire, challenge and deliver trend inspiration based on the actionable insights from our trend intelligence platform.

Your role will be strategy & innovation, with data at the heart of innovation. In addition to the analyst activities, you will play a role in account management and business development.

You also participate in the vision  and design of product extensions and improvements.

  • Helping our customers with their strategic challenges and trend research, being their single point of contact, and working together to achieve greatness.
  • Conduct trend research that helps strategically frame, validate and answer our customers’ challenge.
  • Map emerging trends, and build tailored trend reports.
  • Identify insights from customer research and market analysis.
  • Bring your research to life through visual appealing stories and presentations.
  • Align with technologists and business stakeholders to understand strategy, business and operating models.
  • Contribute to the sizing of value opportunities and the creation of value cases for customers.
  • Contribute to sales.

You are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, business, psychology, strategy, marketing, technology, innovation, another relevant field or similar experience in a previous role.
  • Postgraduate qualification or significant experience in a relevant industry is a bonus.
  • Experience performing trend research (quantitative and/or qualitative).
  • A background in strategy development, innovation design or market intelligence is a big plus of course.
